5/18(月) ぴあサポロードショー！『リペアカフェ』開催のお知らせ／【May, 18th(Mon)】Peer Support Roadshow!: “The Repair Cafe”

「壊れたら、新しいものを買えばいい」 そんな当たり前を、少しだけ立ち止まって考えてみませんか？
今回の上映会では「リペアカフェ」というドキュメンタリー映画を上映します。
オランダ発祥の「リペアカフェ」は、地域のボランティアが壊れた家電や服を無料で直してくれる場所。でも、そこで直されているのは形あるモノだけではありません。
家族の思い出、地域とのつながり、そして使い捨てが前提の社会システム……。 このドキュメンタリーは、アムステルダムの活動に密着し、モノを修理する過程で生まれる温かなコミュニケーションを描き出します。
自分にとって「本当に豊かな暮らし」とは何か。 モノと自分の関係を見つめ直す時間を一緒に過ごしませんか？
映画上映後、会場参加者どうしで映画の感想や意見を共有する時間を設ける予定です。映画を通じて、現代社会や、人と人とのつながりについて考えてみたい方、いろいろな声を聞いてみたい方など、どんな方でもお気軽にお越しください。
日時：2026年5月18日（月）15:30〜17:00（入退場自由）
対象：東京大学の学生
場所：本郷キャンパスグローバル教育センター 多目的室
定員：人数によって、参加者を制限する可能性があります（先着順）

※英語音声、日本語字幕の映画です
※主に日本語で進行しますが、英語でもお気軽にご発言ください。
注意事項：
・参加は無料です。
・先着順で参加者を募集しますので、HP添付の申込みフォームより事前申込みを推奨致しますが、当日座席に空きがありましたら事前申込みの無い方の参加も可能です。
・途中参加、入退出自由です。
・動画撮影や録音はご遠慮ください。
・個人が特定されないような形で参加時の様子の一部を活動報告などに使用する場合がありますのでご了承ください。
・会場での飲食はできませんのでご注意ください（蓋付ボトル飲料は可）。
・手指消毒にご協力ください。
・発熱、有症状時は参加をお控えください。
・上映作品が急遽変更になる場合があります。

“Why fix it when you can just buy a new one?” Before you head to the store, why not take a moment to rethink this modern mindset?
The Peer Support Room invites you to a special screening of the documentary “The Repair Cafe.”
Originally from the Netherlands, “Repair Cafes” are community spaces where volunteers help people fix broken electronics, clothes, and more—all for free. But it’s not just about the objects. From cherished family memories to the social systems of our disposable culture, these cafes mend the “unseen” parts of our lives.
What does a “truly rich life” look like to you? Come join us to reflect on our relationship with the things we own and the people around us.
After the film, we’ll have a relaxed sharing session to chat about our impressions. Whether you’re interested in social issues or just want to hear different perspectives, everyone is welcome!

- Date & Time: May 18th [Mon], 2026 15:30-17:00 (Free entry and exit.)
- Eligibility: UTokyo students
- Location: Multi-purpose Room, Center for Global Education (GlobE), Hongo Campus
- Capacity: Participation may be limited depending on the number of attendees (First-come, first-served), RSVP recommended.
- Organized by: Peer Support Room
- Note: The film is in English with Japanese subtitles.
- This event will be conducted mainly in Japanese, but please feel free to participate and speak in English.

- Admission is free.
- Registration via the application form is recommended. However, if there are vacant seats on the day, walk-ins are welcome.
- Feel free to arrive late or leave early.
- Video recording and audio recording are prohibited.
- Please note that parts of the event may be documented (in a way that individuals cannot be identified) for activity reports.
- No eating or drinking in the venue (except for beverages in lidded bottles).
- Please sanitize your hands.
- Please refrain from participating if you have a fever or other symptoms.
