What is a Peer Supporter?
Peer Supporters are students who plan and manage the activities of the Peer Support Room. They are engaged in various support activities for UTokyo students. We are not only continuing the activities that have been carried out so far, but also working on the realization of new activity ideas.
Any UTokyo student who is interested in creating a comfortable campus can become a Peer Supporter.
Please note that the main language used in the peer support room is Japanese. (Some peer supporters are students who speak English, Korean, and Chinese.
Peer Supporter Activities + α
In addition to support activities, Peer Supporters are also involved in training and exchange activities internally and with other universities. At the monthly meeting held every month, all Peer Supporters get together and have a short training and a time to improve the next activity through sharing and reviewing the activities of the month. We also hold voluntary study sessions as needed, and sometimes hold Halloween or Christmas parties depending on the season. Furthermore, we do not stay on campus, but participate in gatherings of peer supporters at universities across the country and visit other universities to help us in our activities.
How to apply
Any UTokyo student can be a Peer Supporter regardless of undergraduate school, major, or course of study!
You can work as a peer supporter when you are certified by following the steps below.

Individual interview
Interviews can be conducted online or in person
Preliminary Training
Must attend designated classes or watch video materials and submit a report
Summary lecture
Review of the preliminary training and group work
After attending the summary lecture, you will be able to become a peer supporter.
